-          thank God for guiding us through the Christmas Outreach

-          pray for Kindness2 CG retreat

-          pray for the overnight prayer meeting

-          pray for safety all the way to Lancaster.. that my flight wont be affected by the strike in London or the bad weather

-          thanksgiving for Kindness 2 - the friendships, the growth, the fun, the joy and love

- Pray that God will take away my dad's toothache, and my dad will be able to sleep well and sufficiently every night.

Food Fair

It started when we thought of making fruit juice. We stuck to the plan and thought of what fruits to buy.
 
However, a day before the actual day, we decide that fruit juice is too easy to make and decided to try a more difficult one- indian food. It is by God's grace that we manage to plan and get everything within the next day.
 
I was in charge of selling teh ahlia- ginger tea. However, no one seemed to be interested to order the drink because of its disgusting taste. In that case, I helped my friends to sell other products. We have kueh malu, kacang puteh and home-made banana balls.
 
In the end, the food fair has been a great experience for us.

Food Fair

I am always looking forward to the food fair every year- not because of the food, but because it is the time where we put our brotherly, and sisterly, love into action.  This year again, I was heartened to see the youths sacrifice their time and sleep, putting their heads and hands together to create a fanfare of fun, music and food.  At the end of the day, the funds raised, the hearty fellowship, and most importantly our service to God, far exceeded the sweat and toil.

Food Fair

Recently, I joined Goodness 1 and the food fair is one of the best fellowships I had. I really was moved by the girls’ effort in the decoration and food. It was indeed a good experience. In the past food fair when I was with Joy CG we have not much to worry about and didn’t need to meet up before the food fair. This year, I had a fun and preparation was great and well prepared. It’s been a blessing to be part of Goodness 1. The food fair reminded me of God giving us different gifts and talents, that we all have our different roles to play. Not only in the food fair stall but also as a youth ministry. All our efforts paid off and it was a great experience and joy to help raise funds. =D

Christmas Outreach Prayer Requests

Hi everyone, these are your prayer requests! Do remember to pray!

  1. Pray that more youths will join CYM and grow in the Lord –Andrea
  2. Pray that many youths would come to the Christmas Outreach and touch by the Lord –Linus
  3. Pray that planning for Christmas Outreach will be smooth –Rita
  4. Pray that God will embolden each youth to invite a friend to come and understand the true meaning of Christmas
  5. Pray that we will learn more about ourselves and God as we serve Him through the Christmas Outreach event –Dean
  6. Pray that the outreach will allow friends and family to see the beauty of God by fellowshipping with us –Dong
  7. Pray that God will soften the hearts of our friends so that they’ll be receptive to our invitation and himself –Venetia
  8. Pray that the youths will be courageous to invite friends
  9. Pray that the youths would actively invite their friends to the event
